Christmas is coming and York is celebrating the season in style with a fun-filled line-up of events, fairs and Santa spotting.
Family Christmas Fun
There will be plenty on offer for the whole family, from magical Christmas music at York Minster, a sparkly Ice Trail, to special appearances by Father Christmas himself at venues including a cosy wooden grotto at King’s Square outside York’s Chocolate Story, the medieval Barley Hall and York Castle Museum. Enjoy traditional panto fun when Berwick Kaler brings Dick Whittington and his Meerkat to The Signal Box Theatre at the National Railway Museum.See more>

York is the ultimate shopping city and the fabulously festive York St Nicholas Fair kicking off on the 19 November is the most festive of shopping experiences.
